44th St. Employee Lot Restrictions
Note: The following update was emailed to PHX-based Flight Attendants. If you’d like to receive emails from TWU Local 556, please update your email preferences in your profile on staging1.twu556.org.
On April 30, 2026, PHX Base Manager Deb Edwards sent an email about the 44th Street Parking Lot and the improvements being made. They are restriping the parking stalls and other surface markings. I’m including the email she sent along with the graphic that she attached.
We just received this information from the City of Phoenix this morning about the overnight parking restrictions at the 44th St. Employee Parking Lot that will be in effect Monday, May 11, through Wednesday, May 20, 2026, from 2100 to 0500 each night. We encourage you to read this carefully, as it is very specific about the rows that will be impacted and the dates. For example, if you are working a three-day trip beginning on May 12 – May 14, 2026, you would need to avoid parking in Rows D1-D4, Rows C1-C4, and Rows C5-C7.
The City of Phoenix has stated that your car will be towed if it is parked in a row designated for re-striping. Your car will be towed to an area not designated for maintenance. Megan said that if that occurs, you can call from one of the stanchions in the parking lot with a phone, and someone from the City of Phoenix will assist you in locating your car.
I am very sorry for the inconvenience.
If you have any questions, please contact the Employee Parking Office at 602-683-3615 to speak with Megan Becca.
