Q1: “When does 2025 Vacation Trading begin? And where do I find Vacation Trading?”
Vacation Trading opens on Tuesday, November 5th at Noon Central Time and can be found on CWA.

Q2: “What is the cutoff for trading an awarded Vacation slot?”
Because Primary Bidding begins on the 2nd of the month prior, you must trade any awarded Vacation slot no later than Noon CT on the 1st of the month prior.
Example: I have a February 2025 Vacation slot. If I want to trade it with another slot, I must do so by Noon CT on January 1, 2025.
Q3: “I bid for and was awarded a 14-day vacation slot. Can I trade it for two 7-day slots?”
No, you may only trade slots that are the same length (i.e., 7 for 7, 14 for 14, 21 for 21, and 28 for 28).
Q4: “Because of my hire date, I only have 4 days of Vacation. There are no 4-day Vacation slots in Vacation Open Time or trade. Am I able to trade?”
Yes! If you have a slot that is less than seven (7) days, you can trade it with any seven (7) day slot (either with Open Time or another Flight Attendant). Your new slot will be shortened to the number of days that you have accrued and the slot you traded away will be increased to seven (7) days.
Q5: “Can I trade Vacation between bases?”
No. Vacations must be traded within the same base.
