TWU Local 556 Negotiation Update # 1
Today, November 6, we met with Management for the first day of bargaining to commence negotiations for our Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), which became amendable on November 1. At the table today, the Union’s opening statements were delivered by TWU Local 556 President Lyn Montgomery. The opening statement for the Company was delivered by Senior Director of Labor Relations Brendan Conlon. Vice President of Labor Relations Russell McCrady and Vice President of Inflight Sonya Lacore also spoke on behalf of Management.
Lyn’s opening statement was delivered to your Company Base mailbox, is posted on the TWU Local 556 website, and sent to Flight Attendants’ email addresses on file with TWU Local 556.
The two teams agreed to future meeting dates and discussed ground rules. The parties agreed to meet on the following dates:
November 12
December 3-4
December 13-14
December 17-18
January 8-10
January 22-24
January 29-30
The parties will discuss and agree on additional dates in the future.
