Protecting Our Members

Earlier this week, TWU Local 556 became aware of a serious incident in which a shuttle van driver recorded Crew Members and subsequently posted the footage on social media. Upon learning of this, we immediately notified our Flight Attendant representatives serving on the Crew Accommodations Board and escalated the matter to Southwest Airlines Inflight Management and Corporate Security.

Thanks to this swift action, the videos were promptly removed from social media we were assured the issue would be appropriately addressed.

This incident underscores the importance of Members contacting TWU Local 556 directly when issues arise. We are available 365 days a year and remain committed to protecting and supporting our Members at all times.
